I’ve decided that it’s in my best interest to not go to college, but I don’t know how to tell my parents, what do I do?
- Take some time to think over your decision and make sure that you will have a secure and stable future without attending college. Once you have done that, explain to your parents your plan and why it is good for you to not go. The hardest part is going to be starting the conversation, so put your “adulting” hat on and start talking.
Summer is right around the corner and we live in Miami so the beach is obviously the “play”. I want to have fun and enjoy myself but I am so insecure about my body, what do I do?
- Obviously, it’s 2018 and the body positivity movement is spreading all over social media, but here at the Watchdog, we know that it’s hard to accept your flaws. Self-love does come from within, however, you should remember that nobody on that beach is going to feel completely confident with the way that their body looks either.
Hi, I am currently an eighth-grader at Zelda and I am planning to become a bulldog next year! Do you have any tips for surviving my freshman year?
- Hey! Trust us, it’s not going to be as bad as you think and definitely won’t be as glamorous as you think. Just remember that your class will not be located on the third floor next to the pool, and five minutes is plenty of time for you to not run to class. Overall, don’t fret you’ll do great!
