2018 is right around the corner, and we all know what that means. An endless list of new year’s resolutions that no one really accomplishes. You know the ones: losing weight, finding “the one”, going to the gym, eating healthier. If you’re struggling with coming up with realistic goals for the new year read your horoscope below for some guidance.
Aries: Aries, the planet Mars, this year you should look forward to success. Come March, you’ll start to think about what you want in the next month and how you want it. Look forward to the summer where you’ll be spending time away from your anger issues. This is the time to cool down and work on that tan. Also, for once, let other people stress about the things they’re not able to change. In November, you may try doing more than you’re capable of. You’ll have a frustrating time-fighting battle but in the end, you’ll see that the battles were not pointless, even if you don’t emerge the winner. You have an eye for seeing the struggles in life as opportunities to learn and that is what sets you apart from everyone else.
Taurus: Taurus, you wish to conquer the world this year. As April approaches, you will stop at nothing to accomplish your goals. With long-term goals in mind, you may want to rearrange your priorities so that personal success is at the top of the list. Come summer, you’ll live to help others. When it comes to a friend or family, you’ll be their go-to contact. What keeps you focused, centered, and feeling valuable is having specific jobs to do for your loved ones. Early August is the time for you to go and venture out of your comfort zone. You may be one of the most traditional of the zodiac signs, but even you sometimes need to realize that change is necessary. Could be a change in lifestyle, diet, maybe even a change in your choices for an elective.
Gemini: Gemini, you’re the chatterbox of the zodiacs. You’re never afraid to speak your mind and you have an incredible way with words. However, during the end of March to mid- April you will experience some issues trying to focus on communication. Watch out, you might end up offending someone with your desire to blurt out whatever is on your mind. Your mind needs to be tempered with a bit of etiquette. As summer approaches, you’ll be strengthening your skills and talents. Your sign, Gemini, is the twins and they are associated with the hands. So, time to get your hands busy. Whether it’s going to get a manicure or playing a sport. When mid-November approaches, you may see yourself in some awkward moments as you do have a strong urge to express yourself in an overly optimistic way. How the end of the year goes is all up to you and how your choice of words come out. Timing is everything.
Cancer: Cancer, your soft and emotional core is what defines you, but, come 2018 make sure you let people around the halls know that they shouldn’t mess with you. Show that tough exterior! The summertime is the time for you to let go of past heartbreaks. You don’t have the time to blame yourself for past issues. Not everything works out the way we want it to, so there’s no need to dwell thoughts of blame that have really been misplaced. Starting July, focus on other things. Such as connecting with family members, friends, maybe even start some new friendships. July lets you take full advantage of opportunities that cross your path, and decisions you make based on your intuition are spot on. For once, it’ll be nice to be validated for all the hard work you put in, especially the work you put into your personal relationships. In October, you’ll have no trouble separating the fake from the real. Come the end of 2018, good luck to anyone who messes with you. You won’t hesitate to call others out on their ridiculousness.
Leo: Leo, you live for the attention and love the limelight. However, showing the world that you can switch things at up sometimes will be one of your many challenges in 2018. In early February, your biggest test will be not overreacting (drama queen much?). The first few months of 2018, will be your chance to let people know you’re not easily influenced. Middle of June makes having a good time top priority. Look forward to some high-end shopping, over-the-top parties, and some flashy outfits! As the end of 2018 approaches, let your ego soar and be proud of your accomplishments.
Virgo: Virgo, in 2018 there will be opportunities to find the balance between work and play. You can be very practical and almost rigid at times. At the start of March, your differences between emotion and practicality will be highlighted. Take your time to think about and analyze the effects of your mind on your body and vice versa, this could help you come close to some interesting and enlightening conclusions. In late August, you pay attention to every little detail, and your friends and family can expect a fair amount of criticism to come their way. End of 2018 you’ll see yourself relying on intuition to make your decisions.
Libra: Libra, you like to live life in a balanced way. You live life in the most graceful and poised way possible. 2018 will offer you many opportunities to inject your unique sense of charm into situations that work not only in your favor but also to everyone else’s advantage. At the beginning of February, stepping out of your comfort zone will be a big move for you, and much to the greater good of both you and society. At the end of September set aside some time for you to do something special for yourself. It may be a little hard to put your own needs before your family or friends since your willpower isn’t so strong. At the end of 2018, you’ll become idealistic when it comes to your relationships and money. If you don’t start to view your friendships and bank account for what they really are you’ll find yourself feeling emotionally or financially ripped off once you finally see the light.
Scorpio: Scorpio, you tend to keep your cards close and that’s not likely to change in 2018. You can’t change your entire nature, but you can make some improvements. Look forward to the end of January where you’ll find out some deep secrets. However, finding out these secrets doesn’t mean you should spread them. These secrets will get around on their own and instead of spreading them, use them to your advantage; not in a malicious way though. In late April you’ll be stuck in the past but the sooner you let go of your guilt the better. Accepting defeat may not be easy for you but may be necessary. Towards the end of 2018, there will be some intensity that comes with everything you do. There’s a strong sense of willpower within you so caution to anyone who tries to stop you.
Sagittarius: Sagittarius, 2018 is the year for you to reach new heights. January will show you that you have a lot of strength when things go your way. The challenge you’ll face is when things don’t go your way and you must keep calm. At the start of May, you’ll feel the urge to pull off something huge but will lack the resources to do so. You must find a balance between having enthusiasm for what you believe in and going over the top for a personal cause. At the end of November, your sense of wanderlust is unrivaled. You’ll most likely be taking big trips or texting friends from other countries.
Capricorn: Capricorn, if you keep on striving for what you want, there’s very little you can’t achieve. Between late April and late September, you’ll see that change comes from the willingness to learn from past mistakes. You should apologize to family members or heal friendships that you had a part in ending. Guilt and regret serve no purpose, but if you get the chance to correct a past mistake, take it. Aquarius: Aquarius, you’re quirky and endearing personality makes you a popular invitee to all the biggest parties and events, but you take personal connections lightly. For 2018, you should reach deeper into your emotions because what you find inside those emotions might be surprising and satisfying. Mid – January is the time for you to be your unpredictable self. As mid – May approaches you will realize that you cannot stop sudden changes. You’re a fixed sign, so you don’t adapt well to plan variations, and in the upcoming months, you may be thrown off course with what’s thrown at you. Summer may not be all a good time for you as relationships will reach the boiling point. In the end, you don’t like rules and limitations, but messing with the system could have serious consequences.
Pisces: Pisces, the compassionate sign, you spend your time doing things for others and rarely take time for yourself. This year make it all about you. This year treat yourself with the same love and care you have been giving out to everyone else but yourself. During the summer you’ll find it more difficult to retreat into your own little fantasyland. You usually cope with the harsh realities of life by avoiding them; this time it won’t be so easy. As you reach the end of 2018, your months will be filled with creativity, harmony, and positivity. Embrace all that you have and recognize what’s special about all the people you love most.
