Last season was not an easy one for the boys’ basketball team. Having gone 10-12, they are hopeful for some change this year. After long and intense practices, our bulldogs are ready to play ball. Coach Diaz, the Varsity coach, has spent the last 9 months putting in extensive work to make this a memorable season. Diaz is looking to make three major changes this year. He said, “We are looking to improve our overall record, attitude, and commitment.” The team is off to a rocky 2-4 start, but Alexander Valdes, starting small forward, stated, “We are struggling right now but we hope to pick back up and make it to playoffs.” The team plays their next big opponent, Southwest High, on January 9th in the gym at 7:30pm. Make sure you show up and support our Bulldogs.
