Tennis Squad Gears Up for 2018 Season

By Angel Ortiz

Our Braddock tennis squad recently began to prepare for this year’s upcoming spring season.

Not only are they ready to make a comeback, but they are also ready to “serve” their opponents on the court. This is not Coach Towbin’s first rodeo, after coaching our tennis team for 3 years she knows what it takes for our bulldogs to end up on top. She encourages all Bulldogs with an interest in tennis to come out this January and tryout.

We asked senior and 3-year player Mary Faas her thoughts about the upcoming 2018 season. She said, “My time as a Braddock tennis player will soon be over, although I will miss it, I am excited and confident about this year’s team. I have high hopes to make it one of our best seasons yet.” With hours of practice and hard work on the horizon, our bulldogs hold a positive attitude towards this season and expect to overcome any challenge that comes their way.

Both boys and girls tennis teams invite you to join them for their first match against Killian in our home court on February 15th at 2pm.
