On Friday March 8th Dr. Alejandro Rebolledo made history right here in Miami at Miami- Dade Community College North campus. The partnership between the college’s School of Justice, the International Solidarity for Human Rights, and the Rebolledo Consulting group is not a new endeavor. The three organizations have collaborated before.
This time, they hosted a lecture on organized transnational crime prevention. Dr. Rebolledo is a Criminal Lawyer, Ph.D. in Legal Science of Criminal Law, Specialized in Organized Crime Prevention, Certified specialist and Professor of Money Laundering Prevention, financing of terrorism and other matters related to organized crime. Dr. Rebolledo is also a Supreme Court Judge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The lecture was the longest crime prevention lecture on record and representatives from Guinness World Records were present to document it. The lecture started at 10:00 a.m on Thursday, March 8, through 1 p.m. Friday, March 9 (a total of 27 hours). During the lecture, Dr. Rebolledo addressed issues concerning the estimated crime rate and money laundering across national borders. The event was open to the public and had an estimated 35 guests attendance.
