Attention all juniors! The moment you have all been waiting for is here: it is almost time for you to receive your Junior class ring! This tradition sprung up in 1835 and till’ this day we still celebrate this joyful occasion. Here in Braddock, we got a little insight on the juniors’ thoughts towards this memorable event. Junior, Ana Garcia, said that this is a “milestone” for her and her friends and she is very much excited.

In contrast, Junior, Alexandra Zapata says she didn’t buy a ring because “I rather have a $200 dinner instead.” Not going to lie, we can all relate to her thinking. In all honesty, junior rings can become quite pricey. Our largest price tag for the class has been rumored to be around $1,200. Hope it’s one heck of a ring for what he’s paying. Besides, whichever ring you purchased will look great on your hand.

Although it’s easy to choose a ring with an obscene price tag, it’s just as easier to select a ring within a $150 range. It obviously won’t be as elaborate as the guy who spent a pretty penny on his, but it will still be good enough to post on Instagram and comment, #juniorring. Since the beginning of the school year, you have been anticipating this event and now the wait is over. Juniors, join us on Thursday, March 15th at 6:30 pm in commemorating that you are not so little anymore.
